These songs are performed by Roman on a bandura, a 55-string harp from Ukraine. The bandura has a 400-year old history and has long been a symbol of Ukrainian freedom and culture. Roman is a first generation Ukrainian-Canadian, who has been playing the streets of Canadian cities for seven years.
