About

The Emeralds band was established in Edmonton in 1970. In addition to playing for a magnitude of social functions in the Edmonton area, the Emeralds performed at the World's Fair in Spokane, Washington in 1974. Whilst in the United States, they had the honor of performing on various radio and television programs. In 1977, they received a Juno Award nomination for top country group in Canada. (The Good Brothers won that Juno Award).

On this, their sixth album, they continue to play music designed and arranged to please a wide cross-section of the public. They enjoy the good "down-home" type of music. The enthusiasm they generate has no problem in being transmitted to their audience.
